Recipe of Potato Gravy

First, lightly peel 2 large potatoes, cut them into small cubes, put them in a pan, pour a little water, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Even if the potatoes are 90% fried, take the potatoes and keep them alone.

Next take a mixi jar. Medium size chopped onion – 1, Ginger peeled – 1 inch, Garlic – 10 cloves, Cardamom – 1, Peel – 1 small piece, Cashews – 8, Tomato ripe chopped – 1, Unleavened yogurt – 2 tbsp, Sugar – 1 / 2 tbsp, add all these ingredients, add a little water, grind like a paste and keep aside.

Then put a pan in the oven and pour oil – 2 tablespoons, butter – 1 tbsp, peel – 1 piece, cloves – 2, biryani leaf – 1, cumin – 1/2 tsp, anise – 1/2 tsp, add all these ingredients.

Fry until golden brown. Then add 1 tbsp chilli powder to this oil and saut for 30 seconds. As soon as it is poured this gravy will start to thicken. Put it on the stove sim and mix well for about a minute without beating.

Then pour the required amount of water into the gravy. While the gravy is simmering, add the boiling potatoes, garam masala – 1/2 tsp, jaggery powder – 1/2 tsp, salt to taste, mix well, cover the gravy and boil for 5 to 7 minutes, then turn off the oven.

The stove should be on the sim. Take care not to overdo the gravy. Occasionally open and mix the gravy.

That’s all. While this gravy is boiling, Kamakamannu will smell. Sprinkle coriander leaves on top and serve.
