Eggs are always available in every supermarkets and small vegetable stalls.

They are inexpensive and very simple to prepare. Almost everybody enjoy egg recipes! They can be included in a wholesome breakfast, lunch, dinner and also an evening snack!

Eggs are one of the most common foods that cause allergies to children. Allergies occur few minutes to few hours when your baby consumes egg.

Why does this turn allergic for babies? His or her immune system mistakenly identifies certain egg proteins as harmful.

When your child comes in contact with egg proteins, and is recognised them and signal immune system to release histamine and other chemicals that cause allergic reactions.

Common symptoms of egg allergies include:

1. Egg Dosa

Dosa is often the most common dinner in Indian Cuisine. This is a very quick recipe you can do for your your crying hungry child.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Dosa batter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • One tbsp oil

Method:

  • Crack an egg on the dosa soon after you spread the batter in the dosa pan.
  • Keep the gas in simmer. Don’t burn your dosa as it will not taste good.
  • Flip it on both sides.
  • Season it with some salt and pepper.
  • Serve it with chutney or tomato ketchup.

2. Ghee Rice And Boiled Egg Yolk For Babies

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup of cooked rice
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg yolk boiled

Method:

  • Mash the cooked rice in a bowl and add a spoon full of ghee,pepper and salt.
  • Mix and mash it well.
  • Serve with egg yolk.

3. Easy Egg Pudding

Ingredients :

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup whole milk ( breast milk when your baby hasn’t complete 1 year)
  • Note: cow’s milk should be given only after one year!
  • 2 drops of vannila essence
  • 1 piece of cinnamon

Method:

  • Beat the egg in a bowl.
  • Add milk and whisk them together.
  • Add cinnamon and vanilla. Mix them well. Transfer them to heatproof bowl and steam.
  • Pressure cook upto two whistles by adding enough water.

4. Veg Egg Rice

Ingredients:

  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 1 cup of cooked rice
  • 1/4 cup of cooked vegetables like carrots,peas,capsicum,sweet corn,cabbage( optional)
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  • In a pan, heat oil.
  • Add the cooked rice and vegetables  together. Turn the gas in simmer and cook well till it a get a good texture.
  • Add the eggs in it. Mash them. Serve your baby!

5. Scrambled Eggs And Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 1 medium sized potato
  • 1/4 tsp of pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp of oil and butter

Method:

  • Beat the eggs well together in a bowl and add turmeric powder. Sprinkle pepper powder in it.
  • Grate potato using grater. Chop the onions.
  • Heat a tsp of oil in a pan,and add the cumin seeds. Let it crackle. Add the chopped onions and grated potatoes. Cook them until the pototoes are half cooked.
  • Turn off the flame. Add the beaten eggs to  the vegetables and mix them well.
  • Heat the pan and add the mix to the pan.
  • Store them well until the eggs are well cooked.

6. Egg Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • A pinch of Pepper powder( optional)
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • Bread -2 slices
  • Butter or ghee-1 tsp.
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Crack the egg in a bowl and beat it well.
  • Add the pinch of turmeric powder and pepper powder.
  • Heat butter or ghee in the pan.
  • Dip one slice of bread in the mix.Coat it both sides.
  • Put the bread on the hot tawa.(not so hot! keep it in simmer)
  • Repeat the same for the another bread.Put it tawa.
  • Your egg toast is ready.
  • Serve your baby!

7. Egg cheese/oats/ vegetable omelette

Ingredients:

  • One tsp of ghee/butter
  • 1 egg
  • Cheese/oats/cooked veggies/cooked chicken small pieces (optional)

Method:

  • Crack an egg in the tawa. Keep the gas in simmer. Spread the egg in the tawa by rotating the tawa in circular motions.
  • Add the cheese in it. Flip it both sides.
  • Serve to your baby.

Incase of vegetable omelette,add the cooked veggies in it.

In case of oats omelette, add the cooked oats in it.
In case of chicken omelette,add the small pieces of chicken in it.

8. Egg sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • Two slices of brown bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

  • Beat the egg yolk with some salt and butter until it is creamy.
  • Heat the tawa and pour the egg mix.
  • Cook them well.
  • Take out the scrambled eggs and fill them in between the two bread slices.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup of potatoes/ tomatoes or bell peppers
  • 1 tsp of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of boiled whole milk
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Cook the potatoes in olive oil.
  • Once cooked, remove the potatoes and add them to a mixture of eggs,milk and salt.
  • Add the mixture to a tawa and rotate them in rings.
  • Serve the delicious Spanish Omelet to your baby!

10. Scrambled Eggs And Cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower cut into florets – 1 cup
  • One large beaten egg
  • 1/4 tsp of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp to taste
  • 1 tbsp of butter

Method:

  • Place the cauliflower in a large pot, add some water and bring them to boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and low for 5-7 mins. Drain the water.
  • Melt the butter in the pan. Add the cauliflowers and cook little while.
  • Now, Add the beaten eggs. Add the salt and pepper. Cook them until they get mashed.
  • Serve your kid.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 eggs
  • Veggies -optional (cooked carrots, onion, tomato, corianders)

Method:

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  • Add Salt and pepper as per your taste.
  • You can add those cooked vegetables.
  • Keep the mixture aside.
  • Take approximately one bowl of wheat flour and knead dough after pouring the egg mixture in it.
  • Make the same way you do chappathis and the yummy egg chappathis are ready!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Eggs
  • Tomato onion puree
  • Coriander
  • Salt

Method:

  • Beat the egg in a bowl.Add salt to it. Beat it well.
  • Prepare an onion tomato puree.
  • Take a pan. Put some oil in it.Let the pan turn heat.
  • Spread the egg mixture and add the puree to it.
  • Let it cooked for two mins. Roll the omelettes.
  • You can make them look pretty by cutting them into small rolls.Garnish with coriander. Serve your baby.
