3. How To Make Dry Dates Powder At Home?

Ingredients

2 cups of dry dates, you can also add nuts like almonds(but make sure you grind them well and remove the residue)

Method:

  • Wipe the dry dates with a damp clean kitchen towel to remove any dirt or dust. (if any)
  • Most importantly, de-seed the dates and chop them roughly using a sharp knife. If the dates are very hard to be chopped, use a pestle to crack the dates and de-seed them.

  • Next, spread the chopped dates on the plate for about 7-10 days. The well sun-dried date pieces should crack easily.
  • Then use a mixer grinder to grind the dates. Add the sun-dried dates in small batches and grind to get a powder.
  • Grind the dry dates using a blender to get a thin consistency.
  • At last, store the nutrient powder in a dry airtight container and you can use it as a nutritious natural sweetener in milk, porridge, puree, smoothie, yoghurt and cereal. This dates sugar or syrup is a very healthier choice than refined sugar.
